Greetings, OppositeLock.
As you can see, this is a 2007 Chrysler Sebring.
Eww, I know. Anyways, my mom's car has been having electrical problems, and the conclusion which my father has come to is that the core of the problems is a faulty voltage regulator.
Are any of you Oppo-Lockers knowledgeable on the subject of Chrysler electrical issues?
If so, would any of you know where to find said voltage regulator?
kthxbye

If you burn it, all of your problems will be solved!

The voltage regulator/rectifier is usually mounted on the alternator.
What makes handy-dad think it's the voltage regulator/rectifier ? What are the symptoms?

Yeah, but then how will point A to point B?

We recently replaced the alternator, and now it just began to act up again. According to my mom, it was running rough, and then multiple warning lights reared their heads.

He just came into my room suggesting that it is that faulty Chrysler PCM (power control module). Uh oh.

V6 or I4 engine ?
running rough ? sputtering ? no power ? if you cycle the key (without starting the car) on-off-on-off-on, the OBD DTC's should flash in the EVIC/odometer and that should give you an indication of what is happening.

"Xentron, The Holy Reaper of Worlds" Is a better name, so you're no longer lacking for that now.
Sorry about the Sebring. Can't help you there.

I told him to buy a scanner, so not yet.

Did you try cycling the ignition on-off-on-off-on? That should flash the OBD codes onto the odometer on the cluster.

Really? I'll tell him that, thanks.
